Yeah I know, i usually ask this once a year and many others as well. Im always looking for new bands to listen to and every once in a while i find something new and interesting.
So in order to spread the word of new and old music. Ill ask this....
What are you listening to these days?...whats in your CD Players, Ipods, MP3 Players....tape deck...8 track..hehehe
Doesnt have to be a new band, but a new release to you in the last few years anyway...can be live and or remastered versions of old Music. But new bands would be nice.
Even some New Live DVD'S if you think they are any good. Offcial Only Please. :D |

Oddly enough, lately I have been listening to a lot of Billy Joel. I'm only a casual Joel fan but I've authored a couple discs and that kindda got the kick started. It is starting to wane now though and I just loaded all of David Lee Roth's solo albums onto my player to become familiar with them again. I read someone saying A Little Ain't Enough is a great album but I recall just hating it when it was released so I wanted to give that another shot as well as see what else there is in his solo collection. Other than that I have been listen to Dave's dreadful radio show and some other talk radio shows.
As far as watching ... well, usually I have just been watching various projects I have been working on, or just regular TV, Criminal Minds has become a favorite as has CSI and Without A Trace, of course there's also Stargate and then because of the kids lots of children programming. But usually there isn't time to watch much because usually I'm trying to get to sleep.
Too much information? |

Asking once a year isn't a bad idea. I wonder how I answered last year. I'm certain people's answers are always changing. |

On Saturday night I some how got my wife to listen to about 2 hours of various Todd Rundgren & Utopia selections.....I had to constantly shuffle through the obscure stuff to get to the ballads and pop stuff, but is was worth it.
She knows I'm a Todd Freak, but after the 2 hours she said, "Hmmm, I guess I kinda like Todd, too. I had nooooo idea that's what his music was like."
(Next time I'll have her listen to "Black Maria", "Black & White", "No. 1 Lowest Common Denominator", and others to see if she likes his heavy stuff.....perhaps the following week I'll see if she likes AWATS and the "Trippy" stuff.)
all though I don't want her to think I'm like Jim Jones trying to convert her.....Kool-Aid anyone?
What else have I been listening too?
Yardbirds, Rik Emmett, ABB, & UFO |

I've been spending the last 2 weeks going through the entire Led Zeppelin catalog on the drive to work. Haven't been watching anything. I've been reading, gotten completely hooked on a story. The Emperor series. A 4 book series on the life of Julius Ceasar and Markus Brutas by Conn Iggulden. Love history books.
