| Perhaps I should have used the word dominate vs. greatest. While the '72 'fins went 17-0 and the '85 Bears 18-1, that Chicago team would have beaten the '72 Dolphins IMHO. But debating stuff like this is all conjecture and fun! |

Very true about the 49er's. The '85 Bears played three playoff games including the Super Bowl. I believe they shut out their opponents in the first two playoff games then beat the Pats 46-10. That's 10 postseason points allowed through 3 games.
