Well, Scott, I have downloaded/Uploaded over 100GBs at JTT and at Dime and then a few more Gigs here or there at various sites. I'd be willing to help out if need be. I know guitard has uploaded a TON of stuff at a lot of different boards so I'm certain he would be willing to help out if asked. Also both Dokkendude and Ron are Moderator over at JTT and I bet they might be wiolling to assist if need be. If there is anything any of us can do please let us know.
And ...
Thanks for all the hard work on the board !
Right on!!!! :thumb:
I uploaded also over 300gigs on JTT and some all around ..lol
Woukld love to contribute here also :thumb: |

| There's not going to be anything on the torrent tracker that I need anyway, so I couldn't care less if I'm invited to join, but I'll say this. That you're making a little exclusive club here does nothing but alienate others from this site. It's a criticism I've had forever of this site--the site is very cliquish--and this doesn't do anything to weaken that criticism. |

Nothing cliquish about that.
If you're so against how things are done at this site, why do you even bother coming here? Unless of course, you have an agenda... |

It will definitely be restricted (no one can simply register on the board and automatically be able to download torrents), but I'll try to keep it fair. I'll keep everyone informed at a later date.
I Respect That :thumb:
BTW - Keep Up The Good Work Scott :D |

Lou, please go back and re-read Scott's comments ... I've hi-lighted sections ...

For whatever your issues have been ... they never have really seemed to be with Scott. He says he'll try to keep it fair and that seems good enough for most of us. As far as it being restrictive, just about every Torrent site I'm aware of has some sort of restriction. Ratios, content and so forth.
So while it is in "beta" Scott will have a few test it out and hammer out the bugs ... good idea as far as I'm concerned. And then when he opens it up more he'll want to have some sort of control so it is not just a free-for-all ... I think everyone can agree that is a good thing. |

My honest opinion on this is I stopped uploading for a while now on JTT and some other sites due to the fact that there is no control on nothing and that there are too many hit"n"Runs on shows :furious:
Not even a comment to thank an uploader for taking time and sharing those shows for all :(
Some people put lots of work and time to create these DVDs and share them while lots of leechers just leech and take off which in turn is like being in a tree and not fulfilling your end of a trade which sucks....
Thats why in my opinion I agree with Scott on this to at least gain certain control and then again knows what is torrented will be shared fairly then be distributed later on as usual to each by either trees or trade :thumb:
So lets get some shows up there and test :thumb: |

On almost every torrent site I'm aware of, you can simply sign up and start downloading. Even Dime, once you do get in, you can start downloading. It came off to me as if even when the torrent isn't in "beta" mode anymore, it's going to be like the W.D.F.A. forum in that you don't automatically have access. The irony of the W.D.F.A. forum is that some of the people invited to that "special" forum didn't even know what W.D.F.A. meant or what it referred to.
I don't understand why this site is full of restrictions. I don't think that's a good thing. What so the same 15 people that converse with each other on a regular basis here will be the only ones with access. Great. I know I shouldn't care, but for whatever reason I do.
If the restrictions are only for the testing phase then I apologize for my comments. |

Bobby, sadly both my macs are jammed with business, so unfortunatly I can't upload stuff :( the cost of an external HD outways my posty costs as well, so I guess I'll keep the postmen in a job!
I'm happy to send you any shows from the vht list, if you want to upload :thumb:

Its a nice thought bro, but you have to remember the average size house in America is a mansion compared to what we have here in England. I couldnt fit another PC in my tiny little 3 bedroom semi if I tried....... too many VHS tapes, VCRs etc etc...... not to mention the toys & the nappies........ DVDs.... I'll make em..... you distribute them.... sounds like a fair deal??? :D
