There is no best version of "When It's Love". While I like the song,

it was the worst song to end a VH concert with . It's way too mellow.

:( :( :(

What about some of the rarer tracks, like Runnin With the Devil and Finish What Ya Started (both played only once). Or Learning to See? (played multiple times)

What is "Palm Tree Blues"? and what about all the different songs Sammy did for his solo spot? (he changed it for each leg)

Good question....I agree with the rarer tracks. They should be considered without question. As for the songs that were played night in and night out - maybe opening night's Jump? Since it was the first song of the tour. I don't know, just a suggestion

Oooo, lets not forget the Hot For Teacher intro done at several shows in the 2nd half of the tour as the intro to Ed's "Guitar Solo" spot....

If I understand the question correctly, the first time the HFT intro appeared on the 2004 tour was in Los Angeles.

I saw VH in Milw in either Oct or Nov 2004 and he started his solo w the HFT intro - he also did the elephant thing and the horsey thing during the solo.

I also saw them in July - VH's second Chicago show (can't remember date) and Ed completely butchered his solo - he even said at one point "I don't know what the fuck I'm doing up here" - I thought he'd had too many oxys or vicodins before the show. BUT......... during that same show he did the coolest intro to Unchained that I've ever seen or heard - he stuck the neck of his guitar on the ground (holding the guitar parallel to his body) and got this totally cool howling sound - only lastest about 15 seconds but it sounded awesome.

Three days later I saw them in Green Bay and they were all spot on - just killer.

IMHO.

I agree with unclehomey1. I was at the 2nd Chicago show. Probably the worst Eddiw solo I ever heard. But the intro to Unchained was one of the most awesome I ever heard. If it is was recorded and is available, it would be a good one. Also, in the 2nd show in Chicago, they opened up with You Really Got me rather than Jump. I thought that was an awesome version.

At any rate, of all the 2004 shows I have, I like the one from Montreal Canada best. Anything off that show was "the jam!"

That was probably the worst show of the entire thing, worse than Tucson.
