Not the very first 8 track, cassette or LP (for all of you 'older' rockers),
but the very first CD that you purchased.
Mine was VAN HALEN - 5150.
I got my first CD Player in July of '86 & had to get this VH CD. I already had the
vinyl version & had to get it on CD. Helllloooo Baby !!! :D |

I bought these 3 at the same time:
Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
Boston - Boston
Eagles - Greatest Hits 1971-75
I remember how clear the cd's were. It was amazing at the time! :D |

I remember looking at all my cassettes thinking of how much it was gonna cost to replace them...I know one of my first cd's was a Whitesnake cd....and I also remember getting that first Bon Jovi cd...loved that Tokyo Rose song (I think that is what it was)?

| I think it was "Eat 'em and Smile". I think "Blue Murder" was the first non-replacement CD I bought. |

Well i think i bought my first CD player around 1982-83. It was $1000 on for $500 how could a guy resist that price!!!! No remote and all it did was play/FF/REW and eject talk about high-tech for $500. I bought 4 CDs at once at about $35 each:
Van Halen 1
Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon
Supertramp Crime of the Century
Saga In Transit (nice pick) :p :p :p
The next day i found for the bargin price $50
Zappa Overnight Sensation/Apostriphe To this day i still have them all except Saga got the axe!!!! |

My first CD (bought at the same time as the player) was Boston, either the first disc, or Don't Look Back, I can't remember which.
Boston = Used to be my favorite band |

Late August, 1990.
RATT-Detonator-Incidentally, they're playing 25 minutes away from where I'm typing this right now!!
Motley Crue-Dr. Feelgood.
Both still rock, especially the Crue!! |
