Hey All

I was wondering who you guys would see fronting Halen excluding Hagar,DLR and Cherone....If they came to a situation of choosing new singer??

I would see Jonas as a perfect candidate with his stage presence and rockin Style...

He also has a great rockin voice :thumb:

vhroxu2 wrote: And we all know Frank would allow every show to be recorded. You know it buddy :thumb: Hell I'd get Steecoe any seat he wants to any show he wants. I'd be taping myself from the stage. I would tell the soundboard guy I want soundboard tapes of every show to share with my friends. It would be a taping-palooza every night. The vocals might be scary but it would be a hell-a-va lot of fun! And well, well, documented!

Serious about this thread, I don't know who would make a good frontman for them. I seriously thought Gary was a great choice because I loved Extreme's stuff, Waiting For The Punchline I think is brilliant but whereas Eddie changed to suit Sammy he didn't seem to change to suit Gary. I think another Gary album may have been interesting. I would almost say someone like Sabastian Bach because I think he is a great frontman but I can't picture his vocals on Van Halen music. I don't know. As long as it has Ed, Al, and Mike though ... I'm there!

A group called "Jonas" opened for Van Halen on the 4th leg of their 2004 tour. They were/are from Canada. I would assume that's who is being talked about. I saw them in Milwaukee, they weren't too bad. I liked Shinedown the best out of all the openers I saw though...
