This guy contacted me for a trade back in November. He didn't really have anything worthwhile on his list but he only wanted one disc so I just picked out a Zeppelin show. He contacts me again before the trade completes and I agreed thinking what harm can it do to trade 2 more DVD's. He contacted me again asking for another trade and I told him to slow down and maybe wait for the first trade to finish. I didn't hear from him again so I contacted him yesterday to ask him to resend the shows and this is the reply I got:
no time right now sorry
i will send your back it suxs

I'm a little mad that he stiffed me but I think I would prefer it if he didn't get back to me at all. Now he's just being a dick. The other thing is he offers up vines and stuff all the time at www.tapetrader.com

| His name rang a bell, so I checked my tapetrader list, I have traded with him before, though I cannot remember what I traded. Don't remember having any troubles with him. But he lists his name as "f lololol u lololol" so let the trader beware. |

Please take lesson from this and always wait to get your end first before doing anything :D
I myself do this now and if someone I dont know contacts me I mention he sends first an then I will burn and send as soon as I receive his end :thumb:
It sucks to get stiffed and this way you can see these AHoles when you get nothing :irked: |

| I normally do ask that the other guy send first if they contact me but since this was such a small trade for something I didn't really want I didn't see the point in delaying anything. |

I sent the guy some freebies to help him get started, then he goes and gives everyone the shaft. Next thing you know I was getting as many as 10 automated trade messages a day from him and his aliases.
Doesn't sound like he is going to figure the whole "trading" concept out. |

I'm glad I read this, because I got an e-mail on my personal account two days ago from this guy (Andy Jeffers from Ohio).
He was very pushy and asked me to send him about 10 shows. He made some comment about me being a new trader, so I needed to send my things to him before he would send me anything.
I figured he was being a jackass...glad to see the history of this prick before I pulled the trigger on a trade. |

Follow these steps and you will never get ripped off...
Never Send First.....
if you send first only do a 1 or 2 DVD Trade first.
if you send first.... before sending...search google for their email..... or name...etc etc....
most bad traders have ripped people off before.....
people set themselves up for bad trades....
do some research first.... ive been ripped off once.....6 years ago..... I Sent First to a guy in Brazil......LIVE AND LEARN.
BE PATIENT....If the trade seems to good to be true....it probably is. |
