Forgive my ignorance, but what's the difference between dvd and laser disc?
Is one better than the other? |

I'll have a two-disk set shortly. It's authored by Jim Liotta straight from the LD. It doesn't get much better.
LD - laser disk (about the size of a 33 rpm album and playable only in (you guessed it) laser disk players, which have basically gone out of style.
DVD - same size as a CD.

Just got a copy of this sourced from laser disk. It's as clean as they come and really kicks butt.
