Do you know, I've never heard a single note by that band..... they never took off in the UK.... they had a bit of press in Sounds magazine for a while but nobody bought their records over here. Didnt Dale have some strange hard plastic see-thru bra at one point???

My favorites, and who I believe to be the "best" rock drummers are:
Neil Peart (The best)
Cozy Powel (my favorite)
Ian Paice
Bonham
Bozio
Simon Philips
Carl Palmer
& I have to add that after seeing Journey's Dean C. for the first time last year, that he's certainly fun to watch and hear.
(do we need to give a nod to P. Benatar's dude who stands the whole time? Not that I think he's good, but he doesn't sit down while playing....that's gotta count for something...hahaha) |

Being a guitar player for 20 years I have my favs and the guys I would pick for my DREAM band would be:
1. MICKEY DEE - KING DIAMOND YEARS... Listen to Abigail.
2. SCOTT TRAVIS - RACER X/JUDAS PRIEST .. This guy has double bass chops and the tightest metal drumming around.
3. TOMMY ALDRIDGE - BLIZZARD OF OZ years. I love the way he laid down the beat for Randy.
4. BONZO - This man had the best groove for any style of music Jimmy Page would write.
5. NEIL PEART - He is God according to every drummer I have ever jammed with!!! |

Jimmy D'anda??? Bulletboys??? WTF!!! We both grew up in the same city and I use to see him play at backyard party's in the mid to late 80's.. He can't be that good or am I thinking of somebody else?
I think Little Ricky Recardo from I Love Lucy is a better drummer sssh |
