The wait is finally over ! Welcome to Mojo's Classic VH Upgrades Tree #1

I am in the process of converting all of my low generation cassettes to CD.

Included in this 4 disc tree are the following shows:

Van Halen - Cobo Arena, Detroit, Michigan 4/05/84

1st Generation High Bias Cassette to WAV files using Audacity & CD Wave Editor

Disc 1 = 43:59

Disc 2 = 61:01

Total Time = 105:00

***************************************************************

Van Halen - Cobo Arena, Detroit, Michigan 4/06/84

1st Generation High Bias Cassette to WAV files using Audacity & CD Wave Editor

Disc 1 = 44:00

Disc 2 = 69:17

Total Time = 113:17

Both shows were recorded with a Sony D6 Recorder & Sony 939 Microphone.

To participate, in any TREE you must meet these requirements:

1. You must be a member here for 6 months.
2. You must have at least 75 posts in the forum.
3. In order to participate in a tree you must have a PC/DVD/CDR burner to sign-up.
4. You have to trade show/s or blank disc/s in order to receive your TREE disc/s.
5. After your 3rd sign-up in a row as a LEAF you must offer to be a BRANCH.
6. LEAFS will be required to trade disc/s to members who missed the sign-up or didn't meet the requirements.

The SEED (TREE organizer) will determine who will be BRANCHES, although your help would be appreciated if you offer.
There is NO BRANCH waiver.
BRANCHES will have no more then 4 LEAFS.
Depending on the amount of BRANCHES that sign-up for the tree the LEAFS may be on a first come first serve basis.
All the LEAFS may not be guaranteed a copy of the disc/s.
There will be a 7 day period for LEAFS to make contact with their BRANCH. If a LEAF fails to contact their BRANCH they are off the TREE. It's all about communication!!

This sounds completely awesome ...

Are you going to offer a FLAC version? Is it going to be Torrented? I'd be willing to help with the Torrent or Seed the Torrent! I am also willing to Branch.

If you need any assistance with the FLAC thing or Torrent thing ... let me know ...

I would happily be a FLAC Branch and if you want or need a Torrent, I'd be happy to do that too. Whatever you need! I'm very excited about this one. Very cool!

In honor of Frank's excitement, I will let him torrent the shows - for all of the

torrent people out there. I'm surprised VHDRUMMER didn't at least post a

dancing banana or something.
