With all due respect... I don't believe it.
Tend to agree with Walker on this one. Wasn't Wooda's a 1st gen off the soundboard.
WOODA: N B4 Halloween: Lineage of show: SB >1st gen cass>Kenwood KX-77CW tape deck>Creative Labs Audigy 2 24bit>WAV>Adobe Audition>WAV>FLAC Frontend>FLAC(level 6) |

We weren't questioning the sound quality (which I am sure is quite good, your work is excellent).
It was just your claim that this was a NEW source, when in fact it is a Remaster of Wooda's 1st gen tape transfer.
I think there is also a REMASTER Blacklash going on right now in a lot of trading circles. It just seems like every guy with some software is remastering every show that goes up on Dime or TTD then putting it out as there own. Now you get 3 or 4 versions of every show. Good for some, confusion for others. |

Look...
I love it here and I love you guys.
I am just offering the projects I do from my own personal collection. I offer different bands that might not have a lot of takers but I still offer.
I hope you all like what I do.
If any of you cats want to try or sample my projects, let me know. I love my Pasadena 77 set but if any of you cats think otherwise, I am sorry.
I am here to try and provide upgrades in audio.

So it's not a different source then? |

| I think the source is from Young and wild or something because it's not the same source as Woddas. |

It's probably not Wooda's version.
I was talking to Wooda and this is what he said...
Quote: It would be impossible for him to have access to a different master, as I have one and Eddie or DLR have the other. Tell people if they want a version with more balls, Wooda would be glad to do a 2007 remaster based on current audio technology. |

It's great to hear Wooda's still around. Tell him his version has plenty of balls. :D
I'd also like to hear Scallions version for fun. |

Young & Wild doesn't have the soundcheck, it also runs slow. Why would you use a higher gen & poor recording for a remaster?
Other versions are also missing the soundcheck: Die Laughing, Midnight Cash, The Atomic Punks, Atomic Punk, Young & Wild, Live USA, Eruption
The only source of 10/15/77 with the Soundcheck comes from Woods 1st gen tape. Others are higher gen & inferior or bootleg copies.
No worries either way. Like I said we were only questioning your statment about the source, NOT the work you do. Just trying to keep confusion down. |

I sped up the tape.
I added the soundcheck.
I think the final version I used has more life and sound than Woods tape.
But again, this is my version. |
