Ok, I was gonna offer freebies sooner or later, but since today we got a fresh snowfall, and more to come for tomorrow (which probably means I wont have class) I have felt pretty giving. I've made some freebies of some pretty kick ass CVH shows. They are as follows:

Disc 1
-"Bottoms Up!" - Oklahoma Fairgrounds, Oklahoma City, OK - 8/6/1978

Disc 2
- "Live and Loud!" - Fresno, CA - 3/25/1979

Disc 3
- "Bright Lights, Big Largo" - Largo, MD - 5/1/1980

There are no requirements to get these shows, just be the first newb to pm me your address and they're all yours. All I ask is that you make copies for at least one other person who wants the shows.

Hey Anthony - is the fresno '79 you're offering the 2006 1st gen cassette transfer? If not, I'd be glad to send you a copy of it to send out. It blows 'Live and Loud' away. Just let me know.

I'm not sure, I just got that show in a week or two ago from a trade with romeod. The label on the post-it said Live and Loud, Fresno 3/25/1979. The sound quality is pretty damn good, I would call it an A, the most hardcore raters would prob say A- at worst. I will ask romeod about it.

Hey guys ... include me in this.

I'm a newbie and want to get started. Offers like this will get my collection going, not to mention memories of my first rock concert (age 12) - Van Halen World Tour 1979 - Los Angeles Forum. Boy did it change my life.

Let me know what I need to do - I'll do it.

Thanks, Mike

ok after i received a couple upgrades from Daryl, the updated vine i've sent out is this:

Disc 1
- "Bottoms Up!" - Oklahoma Fairgrounds, Oklahoma City, OK - 8/6/1978

Disc 2
- Fresno, CA - 1st Gen. Cassette Source - 3/25/1979

Disc 3
- "Bright Lights, Big Largo" - Largo, MD - 5/1/1980

Discs 4&5
- Oakland, CA - 6/11/1981

I sent out the rest of the shows to r_pinnington on saturday. They may take a week/week and a half to get to him since he lives in canada (eventhough i live right next door here in maine - but it still takes a while  ) So things should be getting rolling quickly. Enjoy the shows!
