Yeah, that's kindda my feeling on it. While they are grabbing we are still able to use their bandwidth, if it becomes an issue we can always changes the rules but I know if I have something someone else needs, I'm gonna open my window and I think if I need something someone else will open their window, I think Radikal has already done that for me once. As long as we have some good people shouldn't be a big issue and if it becomes a big issue we can always address it;

Personally I'd go for option 7, because that's my prefered way of trading.
But seeing as the majority want torrents then option 2.

Even though I'm a trading guy, you can't ignore technology marching on, and one day I will be hip to what all the young kids are doing with torrents :thumb: , so I vote for option 1.

Option 1 for me as i like to get the shows quickly and when you are based in the uk with quick upload/download it takes less than a day normally for your show to be done :thumb:

I am not much into Torrents...I just can't seem to get very good at it, plus, it is hard to get your ratio's up to a good level.

However, since a good number of people like Torrents, I would vote for #1, if I had to choose.

If we do continue and develop the torrenting facility here, which I suspect we will do judging by the replies so far, then I feel we should keep a close eye on what is distributed. I have noticed in the last few days several older more generated or poorer versions of titles being torrented at JTT where there is a superior version available in circulation. Obviously this is being done out of ignorance rather than deliberately, but I think we neeed to make sure this doesnt happen here to maintain our good reputation. Luckily Ron has done a great job over there in halting these sub-standard titles at JTT.

Just a thought,
Chris.

Between us all we will make sure that shit isnt torrented for the sake of torrenting something. The Torrent section will be about flooding the trading pool with quality shows and not filling it with crap.

any thoughts about starting from the beginning and posting the shows chronologically that way we can get the best recordings and we can all get rid of inferior copies that we might have.

That is a good idea. We first need to assertain which are the best versions available of each piece of footage. I am about to post my opinions on the best CVH video material in a new thread.

We would also need to check before torrenting with authors who may have upgrades in the can ready for release.

Chris.
