Hi Guys,

This is just a "heads up" as I think VH1 is (re) running the DLR/Sammy interview show this Sunday evening. So check the ole TV guide (when it comes out) :p

Actually VH1 is showing a show called The Sam & Dave show: Life After Van Halen. And later that day Mtv2 is showing a couple of Artist Collection episodes. First one is Sam & Dave apparently introducing their videos, and following that is another episode showing Van Halen videos.

All ironically happening on Ten13 :D

Sunday will be a good day. :thumb:

For anyone who cares on Sunday Sam and Dave play their favorite videos on MTV2 at 5PM and at 6PM is a Van Halen video collection also on MTV2

At 12:30PM and 8PM is The Sam and Dave tour special on VH1

Well, if you can wait a little bit, i'll probably turn this stuff into a VCD along with some other recent appearances from Sam & Dave (Last Call, VMA's, News clips, etc..).

I'll try and work on that this next week.

After watching this show all I have to say is Dave is F'd up. That guy is way out there.

Now if sam and Michael Anthony are best buds how cannot they get a reunion with the brothers going?

Lousy TV Guide!! :furious:

The show was listed as starting at 8pm but of course it started at 10pm. I missed the first 5 minutes also. ($#%#$%$#^!!!!) It was a good show though.

IMHO - They are all quite disfunctional - but I don't care I still love those guys. Hopefully what Sammy was talking about, Sam&Dave with VH, will happen but I have the feeling it may be a cold day in......

On another note - Is the Bar-B-Que (DLR home video) they talked about out in trading land?

If anyone finds out about a VH1 re-showing please post it.

Tivo claims it will repeat this Wednesday 10/16 at 10am (PST) and again on Friday 10/18 at 7:30pm (PST).

Tivo knows all. :D

They also say Sammy is going to be on Hollywood Squares this week....check your local listings!

I have that B-B-Q video. It's really weird too. I bought it at the St. Louis show. But I can't make copys to a VCD or VHS :( That was a pretty damn good VH1 show..

Thanks anyway Dr. R I am just glad to know its out there. I am VCR challenged also (1 vcr that is).

I am sure one of our fellow VHforumites will pop up with some tradeable copies or a rip to VCD. Or depending on the length SVCD.

The few clips they showed were demented beyond belief - If Dave would only design a theme park :p

Is there interest in something like this?

Btw, this stuff is edited. When I save things like this for myself, I remove commercials, and just left the moments that have the guys. For example, Sam on Hollywood squares won't include the whole shows, just Sam’s moments edited together. Sam & Dave on Mtv2 doesn't include the videos they play, just their interview segments between them (do you really want an Outkast or Avril Lavigne video included?). Anyway, that’s how I prefer to save it.
