To participate, in any TREE you must meet these requirements:

1. You must be a member here for 6 months.
2. You must have at least 75 posts in the forum.
3. In order to participate in a tree you must have a PC/DVD/CDR burner to sign-up.
4. You have to trade show/s or blank disc/s in order to receive your TREE disc/s.
5. You can only sign up as one and that's either a BRANCH or a LEAF
6. After your 3rd sign-up in a row as a LEAF you must be a BRANCH.
7. LEAFS will be required to trade disc/s to members who missed the sign-up or didn’t meet the requirements.

There is no more signing up as a BRANCH/LEAF, either or whatever needed and you must decide which one you can do for that specific TREE.
BRANCHES will have no more then 4 LEAFS.
Depending on the amount of BRANCHES that sign-up for the TREE the LEAFS may be on a first come first serve basis.
All the LEAFS may not be guaranteed a copy of the disc/s.
There will be a 7 day period for LEAFS to make contact with their BRANCH. If a LEAF fails to contact their BRANCH they are off the TREE. It's all about communication!!!

I'm a little confused here as this is the first tree I ever did - I'm a greenhorn here in this respect .
I let it run past closure date in case of any extra interest as only only 4 people have signed up.
Now I find myself banned from further activity on the Board.
Hardly a way to encourage seeding , especially as I was never informed of this by e-mail instead it is publically put up on the board for all to see.

"Damian is banned from any further tree's until futher notice for never following through and finishing a tree he started over a month ago...Ory

Prior to this BAN I requested that my Dio CD be closed off yesterday & this never happened - see below

Im sure ory will gladly answer all your questions.

the reason that thread wasnt closed was i asked you a few questions because i noticed the tree sign up was a month old and no tree structure had been posted. If the thread was closed you wouldnt have an opportunity to reply. A PM was also sent to you. More communication was needed during that 4 weeks.

for now, my advice is to finish this Dio Tree. The Sign Up is a month old...have you contacted anyone in the tree? Picked Branches.Leafs? Its a small tree.

If this was your first tree and you were confused you should have asked questions a month ago..not when we call you on it.

to get this tree done and over with, my advice to you is.

send a message PM/Email to the 4 people who signed up in this tree. Get their contact information and set up trades with them. Its 4 people, no need for Branches actually. Get it done and overwith and start fresh.

Im sure once you finish this tree Ory will allow you to take part in further VHTrading activities.

but for now your priorities here should be to finish the tree, and not sign up for further Trees.

As it was there were so few people interested I left the DIO DVD run (in the hope that if I left it open more people might want it) , my intention was never to let anyone down or anything like that after all I'm the one offering to pass it on.
It's real disappointing that I have to respond to being blackballed through the site forum's than by e-mail/PM , all over a DVD I offered to other users of this site.
I'll contact the people on this tree , but I'm pretty vexed that in offering/sharing this DVD around (my first) , my navity has seen me banned from picking up other DVD being shared by other members of this site.

Damian, the fact is..this tree sign up is a month old, nowhere in this tree did you communicate that you were extending the cut off date or message to your leafs that you were leaving it open a bit longer.

All you had to do is communicate that to everyone and all would be fine. You are not black balled or permanently banned, so all this drama is over nothing.

Ory and I have asked you to finish the tree you started a month ago before moving on.

it's your choice....

you are welcomed to take part in other trees once the the Dio Tree is finished.

I've written to all the guys & am awaiting a response to finish Dio DVD up.

If there is a problem in future a heads up via e-mail would be appriciated, rather than reading it via the VH site site in a manner where other members can also view this issue publically (the Police DVD set where the ban notice has been left).

I entered this world with a good reputation , tried my best to mantain it & leave with it intact.

Therefore I hope you can understand my upset at reading your concerns re this Dio tree on another part of this site where any casual browser can read it.
Anyone can make a mistake but to have it publicised on a forum for all the world to see seems unfair.
It's not as if I'm Franz Premm in disguise

This was an oversight / misunderstanding & I'm miffed to see it publcised for all the World to see.

Every site has rules and guidelines Damian, and it's worked for 6 Years. Ive explained everything i can to you regarding it.

You are not some rookie like you claim to be. You've signed up for over 20 Trees over the last 2 Years you have been a member. You know how they work. It's your responsibility to run the tree start to finish, even if it's your first time running a tree. It's not our resposibility to baby sit every tree.

Next time if you have any questions ask before you start the tree.

as for your reputation, if people read over the thread they will know what happened. If they dont understand that...they are probably not worth trading with.
