As much as I love V.H. and D.L.R, I can't get myself to grasp this new line-up.The first obsticle is swapping D.L.R for Sammy.I had a hell of a time accepting Sammy back in 85.However he worked hard and after a while he fit the shoes that Dave once wore!I started excepting him,liking him and wanting him.Now I feel like shit not having him anymore.
Second,and most important factor is having Eddies kid instead of M.A. He doesn't belong in V.H with guys 3 times his age.He should be in some new debut Band and start his career from the beginning.
I wish I was all hyped up about this new tour but I am not! :( |

| I have similar feelings toward all of this also. However, I'm glad they are playing again, and if this is the only way they are going to do it then I'll support it. Hearing CVH tunes live again will be great. I don't like the negative attitude they have toward past members. I mean leaving Mikey out of the album covers on their webpage is just wrong. Respect the history and move forward. |

Sure,a new tour is better then none.Its all about marketing I guess.
D.L.R's singing was back then so and so and got worst with the years.Eddie's guitar playing in 2004 wasn't so hot either.We will have to see if Dave can still make splits while jumping and see if he still is the showman we loved him for.And lets hope Eddie can restore his magic fingers.
On the other hand I hope Sammy and Mike find two other good musicians and go on a tour of there own.A sammy and Mike tour would have great Chemistry for sure.We will have to wait and see if this new V.H reunion has the making of strong bonds between the members.I personally think the magic rests on, bond=$$$$$$. |
