I'm in for a 4-star on Monday, looks like I'll be going thru stubhub for 200's on Wednesday. I'm trying to convince others I'm going with to upgrade, but it looks like that won't happen.

Where is a good place to hang before the shows? I'm from NYC, I don't remember anything being in the area other than the stadiums/arenas.

Not much around the sports complex there. The complex is south of the city so you have minimal options. Your best bet is probably McFaddens which is attached to Citizens Bank Park where the Phillies play. Its right across the parking lot. Get there early because it will probably be crowded. Other than McFaddens, you can always tailgate but I know there are certain lots where you can't drink so be careful there...especially with the NY plates.

Here is the link for McFaddens.. http://www.mcfaddensballpark.com/

Thanks thereadog. :thumb:

I remember after the '94 Stanley Cup, someone had a sign that said, "Now I Can Die In Peace". I think that will apply to a lot of us after this tour.

Yep...feels like that was just yesterday. As far as this tour, I don't know about that. Will be great to see Roth with VH but without Mikey there it takes a lot out of what it could have been for me.

Very true. Every time I think of it, it really annoys me. After all these years, it's still not a true reunion. They kick out the guy who has stayed out of all the drama and been the real connection to the fans, nevermind his actual contributions to the songs...

It seems like they have to be mad at someone at all times.

Not sure if anyone is interested in this but I just got off the phone with someone from the Wachovia Center. She told me that there are seats available in one of the club boxes for the Van Halen shows. I asked her specifically for the 2nd Philadelphia show but do know that they had the box for 2 nights. The seat is $250 in a club box and includes a 3 hour buffet prior to the event which includes beer/soda. I thought I might be able to make it to the 2nd show but am flying home that day and will not make it in time. If anyone wants the contact information for this, PM me and I will be happy to give it to you.

Mine's incomplete, but they sounded fantastic. David sounds incedible and is the tightest of all of them right now. They went on well before 9, keep that in mind for Wednesday. I'll be home next week and can up what I have. Floor seats for Wednesday so should sound better.

Awesome show!! Can't wait till Wednesday. I'll go into a little more detail later if anyone is interested. I ended up getting home around 2 o'clock and now have to deal with 4th graders all day with VH still buzzing in my head

I think it will be an easy day for the class today!!

Are you going to share your recording? Even though it's incomplete, it sounds fantastic! Nice job, bro! :thumb:
