Whoever is going to this show? Don't forget to say Happy Birthday to Dave! Should be a good show to record as well. Maybe they will sing H-BDay to Dave? A new song in the predictable set list.

dave was awesome, alex a masterblaster, wolfgang unbeliveble
Edward... simply the GREATEST GUITARPLAYER ON THE PLANET :thumb:
EACH SONG WAS PLAYED AS IT WAS COMING FROM THE CD! STEREO SOUND
IN HI-FI STYLE :thumb:
Alex solo, was impressive, a drum machine, way better than 1998 ( when I saw him in New Jersey)
Wolfie, is a nice surprise: he plays like a mofo ( as Edward said in 2003 radio interview)
Dave, is the Entertainer..period: don't try to say bad things about his voice...I had a few doubt before this tour, well, I was wrong...perfect pitch, jump kicks , a coreographic movements...honestly the best rock frontman on stage ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then lets talk about Edward....
he laughed all the time, we was happy, he is happy to play, especially with his son on his side...
the energy and the heart he puts in his playing are unbelievable...
he changed different guitars, from the replica, to the new charvels, and the the new wolfie prototypes...I would like to buy each of the guitars I saw yeaterday!
the solo:
it was in the classis style...but the sound, was top notch, fast, and precise.
probably the guitar ,If i'm not wrong, during ain't talk about live, went a little bit out of tune..
these new prototypes must be tested... :D
the audience...was awesome...incredible.
Yesterday was Dave's birthday...and well, Edward, playd a short "happy birthday to you"...
they are tighed as never before.
there is something magic, in this band, and this time honestly, I could see the passion they have, the happiness they have to stay together.
they were there to play for us, and were there for them...it was unbelievable.
hot for teacher, to me, was way faster than the original cd...
unchained...awesome, all the favorites were played, and I never sang like yesterday....
this concert will be remembered for a very long time...
to me, the best show in my life...
VAN HALEN ROCKS, PERIOD.

Hey, evhua it´s great to read your text about the Van Halen show.
I´m sad that i can not see them live, but it´s really great that we have this forum to read about the mighty Van Halen.
I´m praying for a dvd of this tour, because it´s the only away that i can watch them.
Maybe they will come to Europe........!?! |
