Prize trip to see Van Halen

The 96.5 CayRock, the Cayman Islands' favourite rock station, Listerine and Delta Airlines are giving the public a chance to win a trip to see Van Halen live in concert in Chicago on 18 October. The package also includes round-trip airfare and accommodations for two.
To participate in the "Blow Your Way To Van Halen", entrants must purchase any one litre bottle of Listerine, staple their receipt to the entry form, and place it in the ballot box at Kirk Supermarket on North Church Street, or any of the four Foster's locations: The Airport Centre in George Town, The Strand on West Bay Road, Republix Plaza in West Bay and Countryside Shopping Village in Savannah.
A contestant will be drawn from each of the five locations on October 12th and then meet on 13 October for the "Blow Off". The first person to blow their Listerine balloon until it pops wins the competition.
Van Halen formed in California in 1972. They enjoyed immediate popularity and influence with the release of their debut album "Van Halen" in 1978. As of 2007 Van Halen has released eleven studio albums, two compilation albums and one live album, selling more than 80 million albums worldwide and earning the band the Guinness Book of World Records title for the most number one hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
Morning show host Ben Maxwell said: "The original band has reunited for the first time in over 20 years and this is possibly the last chance fans could see the original line-up perform. I have the enviable task of 'co-piloting' the lucky winners on this adventure of a lifetime."
Phil Vinciullo, of dms Broadcasting, said: "We are really excited about our partnership with Listerine and Delta and giving the public an opportunity to visit the windy city and hear these rock legends perform!" |
