Yes and No.

The San Jose show (what this thread is for) used to be scheduled for November 29th and got moved to December 16th.

The Fresno show is a new show, originally scheduled (but never confirmed) for Dec 17th, now showing as Nov 29th on Pollstar, but not listed on the official site.

I had no idea. Thanks for pointing that out. Id be surprised seeing the schedule if they played back to back in SJ and Fresno but its possible.

Deuce until it's official we try and not post it....TRY!!...LOL

Ron and I have been managing the list of shows, he usually lets me know in the Thread once the show has been posted on van-halen.com...The we update it....

im sure the Fresno show is a go, lets just wait for a confirmed date from them. If its not posted yet at van-halen.com they are probably waiting for a reason.

Also keep in mind that Pollstar is showing the wrong dates for Uniondale and Calgary. They aren't to be trusted any more than any other non-official site on thew web.

My countdown begins! I realize that a lot of people have this same script but I have wanted to see VH since Fair Warning but my parents deemed me too young. Watched the US Festival on TV knowing that my friends were there. I then suffered through waiting in line for 2 1984 LA shows only to get turned away. Then tortured myself with countless of bootlegs of the days gone by. To stick it to myself even further, I went to all the Van Hagar tours and dreamed that one day I would see Diamond Dave up there. (NO slight on Sammy I liked his years.) I'm 2 days away from hearing my musical life story come to life. lol, they better not suck!!!

Have to get my checklist in order.

Good show in San Jose, the band really seems to be enjoying playing together. Roth seems giddy to be out there. The set was the same as all others on the tour, it's only the guitar solo that seems to vary in structure. Ed started with the Little Guitars intro...it was not his best solo, a bit off and disjointed, but he seemed to enjoy himself. The "that suit is you" like in Unchained was directed at a guy in a Santa hat instead of Wolfgang, although Wolfie still gave the "give me a break" line to Roth. The crowd seemed to react more to the "hits" and was more subdued for the deeper stuff.
