LONNIE..
Guys,
Changes to rig are new head/cab/speakers, new guitar (still in proto phase), original whammy pedal, and new EVH dunlop wah (still in proto phase).
Removed are the Demeter trem and Line 6 rack delay (never used anyway).
As for his flanger and phaser sound there is simply no secret. His settings are nothing unusual. Its all in his right hand. He hits very hard and that drives the pedals hard. Thats it.
Peter, not sure about Denver. Keep an eye on website. An early itinerary I have says Denver is possible early next year.
As for me, I'm done for good with EVH as of a couple days ago.
I have never spoken publicly about who EVH really is and what his behavior is really like. Plain and simple, I have absolutely nothing nice to say about the man. I could easily lay the truth down but I'll take the high road, like the very class act Michael Anthony and wish him best of luck with his tour and issues.

Ed asked us is we heard any flange and we all said 'no'. That didn't make the tech feel to good. But then Ed himself said he's picky about his setup. Then again 04 wasn't the best example of that all the time.
Lonnie was the 2nd. His first night was the Atlantic City gig, which was 9-4-04, I believe. I was at that show. Few fuck ups by EVH, but all in all, a good show. I was on Mike's side though.
Anyways, here's what Lonnie had to say in his email response to me:
Quote removed just to avoid any headaches for Lonnie.
As for his playing, which is what most of us are worried about. I wont tell anyone who said what, but I hear EVH is sounding good. All I can say. The youtube clips will be up fast and furious once this tour starts, so we'll all find out in a few weeks.

More from LONNIE..
Whammy is used for Pretty Woman on shallow setting for a wide chorus. Other than that its set on 2 oct up for whammy effect.
Ed has always used his effects well. He brings them in for a llittle part or phrase, never for an entire solo (with the exception of the P-90 from time to time). This helps to make them stand out. Placement is key.
There was no falling out or ending on a bad note per say. Ed and I are two different people in two different places. I'm no longer right for him and he's no longer right for me. That is life.

I'm sure you'll be happier elsewhere Lonnie. What's sad is they take a class act like Micheal Anthony and make him out to be the enemy.
No public comment on that statement.
I will say however that Micheal Anthony is one of the nicest musicians I have toured with. Top notch guy.
