Hey everyone...just a friendly reminder to New and Old VHTrading Members that any Wolfie Bashing in your posts will be removed. Ive noticed it starting on other sites already and i dont want us to lower ourselves to that level.
Good Natured Jokes and Pics are all fine, but just try a be respectful of the kid. I think we all forget sometimes that he is 16 years old.
Just a friendly reminder.
Enjoy the Tour :thumb: |

Agreed :D
Let the kid play and prove himself ;)
we all heard some samples of the jamming they did and it sounds great :D
Its going to be tremendous pressure on the kid to give a great performance and I hope he pulls through since thats the band line up now.... |

You know, I just don't get it. I went to 3 shows in 2004 and Wolfie joined his father on stage during a couple of the shows. We've all seen the boots where Wolfie joined in during the solos.
The love Eddie has for is son was evident. Isn't it every fathers dream to have worked with their son at some point before they retire? Go to sporting events, a bar or just plain hang out.
It doesn't seem to end does it (bitch about Sammy, Gary, DLR, Wolfie, Valerie, Eddie etc).
VH is touring again and that's the important thing to me (and the majority of us). We were all thinking that VH would never tour again after 04. I look at this as a "bonus" tour that we never thought would ever happen! I for one am going to enjoy this ride as I did with past tours.
Bands make personel changes all the time. As I stated in a previous post, all you have to do is look at The Stones and the Who. They had pretty successful tours recently and they didn't have their original bass player.
As a Van Halen fan i'm thankful that Sammy came on board. No Sammy, No Van halen as far as i'm concerned. Wasn't it DLR that had "swollen head syndrome" and bailed on the band in the first place? Wasn't it Van Halen with Sammy that went on with success while DLR's solo career tanked?
Hardly Sammy's fault.
I'm glad Eddie and Dave sorted out their differences. Dave is back where he belongs!
Kudos to Shawn and i'm sorry about the essay but I had to vent. Great posts as well!
The only bashing that should be allowed here is "Leaf Bashing", right Shawn. :D
Couldn't resist. ;)

| I don't think I have ever bashed Wolfie directly, although I know others have. I believe I may have bashed the idea of having him in the band. I would have liked to see the original four tour but I guess that isn't to be. I said once, tour as the original and then go off and do whatever. I'm not thrilled about what is happening with the band but I wouldn't hold that against Wolfie. I hold it against Eddie. But I'm not going to get into Eddie bashing either. I'll just be sad and let others be happy. Who knows, maybe I'll eventually warm up to it. The Press Conference did make me feel slightly better about the whole thing but only slightly. |

To me, I don't mind at all the Wolfie is there. What makes me mad is the manner in which Eddie did it. If he would have been civil with Mikey and explained that he wanted to work with his son and such, it may have not been as bad (though I still want Mikey as opposed to Wolf).
That being said, none of this is Wolfie's fault at all and I hope he kicks major ass; just to keep the tards quiet.
Great thread! |

Val says that you better not be throwing no panties or bras at Wolfie during the tour!
Didn't realize this was gonna be a Tom Jones tour...

It's not Wolfie bashing, but I was wondering who was going to set up the tracking of how many times Eddie plants big sloppy kisses on Wolfie at each show. We could track it by city and see who has the most loving city....
Maybe we could set up over/under betting lines on the kiss count for each city also.

That would be a helluva drinking game. Every time Ed lays a wet one on Wolfie take a drink. |
