2007 Tour Map (so far)

You can click each point to see the venue they are playing. I'll add more to it as I get time...

FYI: I've been updating the map as the schedule shifts and dates are added or moved, etc...

This is really cool Ron, Ill sticky this in the 07 Forum. It also gives us an idea where they might go on the 2nd leg.

I'll put it in it's own Thread so more will see it.

What is odd to me is how the tour routing seems out of whack. Take the Toronto shows (as one of many examples), why cross the border to play one night in Canada, cross back for the Cleveland gig, then cross back (yet again) for a second night in Toronto. I'd hate to be a roadie on this tour. Chicken crossing the road shit.... :)

The Toronto Promoter wanted multiple nights, but because of Hockey and other Concerts that week the only available nights were the 7th and the 12th. Ive seen this done before with Bon Jovi and other Bands. ACC in Toronto is a very busy venue and to have multiple nights in a week available usually doesnt happen...and i think Van Halen isnt doing back to back nights or 2 nights in a row on this tour....so it made it even harder to make it work.

Plus the Tour was booked very late after the cancel a few months back. Thus the confusing routing.

I still think there are multiple dates yet to be announced before Christmas. Someone mentioned multiple nights in Vegas...

Another nice feature would be to have the dates included (maybe next to the city name) to help keep things in perspective and maybe even help with planning a road trip.

Just a thought...

Yep, I plan of adding that info (see my first post). However, I haven't yet because a lot of dates aren't locked in yet. Just this past week something like 5 different shows/dates were added or moved around...

FYI: I went through the map and moved all the points and lines so that they line up exactly where the venues are (instead of just dropping them randomly on the cities). This way you can click a point and zoom right in to see exactly where the venue is located.
