Ok,
A friend of mine worked at a local station and came across a small gem that is coming my way. back in '88, stations received Darwin's ape as a promo for OU812. On the base on the books the ape is sitting on it says Van Halen. When I get, I'll post pix. |

This particular promo items was issued by Warner Bros. in early '88 prior to the album coming out. At this point, it may be a tad hard to find, but here's some help:
Check out www.eil.com They (eil) are the BEST site in the world for buying import cd's, cd singles, and promo items of all kinds from all your fave artists. I buy from eil all the time. They DO NOT sell boots, it's not a site for that nonsense. They sell, real, legit, record company released stuff. I have all kinds of promo cd's from many diff people and imports I found from eil. There's so much cool stuff they have for the true music collector. Go there and type in Beatles for example in their search engine, it comes up with over 3000 items they have from all over the world. |

I agree. I've had one of these for many years now and they don't just pop up every day. You'll want to sit on this because it's a fairly rare piece of memorabilia.

| Yeah, no problem. If anyone is ever looking for any rare stuff on vinyl, cd single, cd, import, promo items, etc, you need to check out eil.com. BELIEVE me, they are the best source in the world for this stuff and they carry all artists. |
