Hey all
My Wife displayed her talents as a filmer and filmed this historic moment of the biggest Commercial passenger plane with its first ever flight from Paris to Montreal ;D
This is 8 Stories high...850 passenger capacity......look it up on the net its worth it..... 500 tons of flying metal :o

Tons of people .....1000's parked along Highway and more on other sides of the airport :eek: |

I think that may have crossed everyones mind!
In thinking about it, its kind of shocking that groups of people are still allowed to be parked that close to a landing area. I read somewhere that after 9/11 this had stopped - even for licensed movie production. The article said scenes in movies such as "Heat", which ended right by LAX in a similar spot to where this Montreal video was taken, would be impossible to film now becuase it would not be allowed to have people get that close out of fear of a person shooting a surface to air missle....yet it seems you can get that close in Montreal. |

There are MANY major airports in america that the approach croses right over main roadways. It is impossible to stop or change.
However, the New airbus is the 1st of its kind. It has been delayed MANY times due to funding and structure. It is one BIG F%cker and will be a major impact on trans atlantic flights. |
