Same here. My friend had VH II and brought it to school. The teacher
played 'You're No Good' and 'DTNA' and I was hooked.
Trying to remember why she played it. lol This was before we started
changing classes and it was between subjects. Must have been a show n
tell type thing. She was a cool teacher. :thumb:
I also remember a kid in class brought Kiss' ''Destroyer" album to an
earlier grade class and the teacher saw it and freaked!! :D |

| The first I bought was 1984 on cassette in Feb, 84. I was only 11 years old and I walked three blocks in the cold and snow of Cleveland winter to the local record shop and paid w/quarters and .50 pieces!! Next came Diver Down and then within six months of that I bought the other four, all on cassette. |

| My first vh tape was 1984. I'm not sure of the exact date, but I believe it was some time in the summer of 1984 ( I was 13 at the time). I do remember I was going to vist my cousin the week I bought it. |

| I'm pretty sure mine was F.U.C.K. Starting buying CDs and tapes around that time. Later bought them all on CD. |

The first VH albums I got were VH1 and Diver Down. I traded my Black Sabbath Greatest Hits album for them. It is still probably the smartest thing I have ever done in my life. :thumb:
BTW, I went out and got a new copy of BS Greatest hits a few weeks later. |

Thank you..its more fun to find out how we are knew Van Halen album for the first time and the stories behind that...
in 1988 there are no official cassette tape in Indonesia..all the tapes that around were unofficial/no royalties,no license or something..so the VH 5150 cassette that i have was unofficial/no royalties,no license..but until now i still keep it...coz a lot memories on that tape..up 1989-1990 cassette tape and cd had official..most my VH tape were from that era when official tape were around... |
