Dear Pt5150,
I really think that the new evh-wolfgang is getting better, as the tour is going on.
From what I heard from a friend inside Fender (Ohio), the guitar set up is increased, especially in the neck (more graphite reinforcing)
As you heard after different solo's, during the first part of the tour the mapletop wolfie, went generaly out of tune.
With the gloss white wolfie instead, it seems that the whole instrument is better balanced, the bridge and the neck are working perfectly.
I really think the guitar might be presented at Namm, depends on what Ed will decide.
As you remember, even the old wolfie had problems in the first period, but then it was 100%
set up, and sold.
Anyway, I am very curious to see and try the new wolfie as soon as possible!! :thumb: |

| I might be going to NAMM, hopefully he'll show up. Got to see the Frankenstein at the Fender room last year. |

I read how a few people say Ed,s playing is bad..
So what..Ed could play drunk, fart into a mic or stand up there with just feed back and I,d pay top dollar and I,m sure many other,s would to see & hear it..
Just seeing Ed pick up a guitar and work his magic on it is awesome....
They have only been to Australia once in their 30 plus year history...I was lucky enough to see them twice also in 93 in New York...
Hopefully when they tour hear next year, I,ll pay top dollar to see Ed shred his magic.People should appreciate this legend while he is still playing live...
Everyone has bad days for what ever reason..
Rock on Ed... |

| As I recall many said Ed sounded like shit in 04, then back in 98, and 95, etc. when was the last time he sounded good...1984? I thought Ed sounded great this year. |

I personally thought he sounded great in '98 but other than that not since the club days. |
