I agree, it is a miracle. I didnt think the first show would happen let alone 30 something shows in with a 2nd leg booked.

and we can Thank Wolfie for it all :thumb:

without him this tour would have never happened.

I'm guessing you missed all the coverage in the Oct 18th issue...

As much as it sucks not having the press coverage that a tour like this would normally generate...I can't say it's not a smart move on the part of the band not to do interviews. The band knew that the shows were going to rock and create positive energy. They are letting the live shows and word of mouth from the shows do all the talking. If the Press could do interviews, it wouldn't focus on the shows, it would only want to focus on the past, dig up dirt and stir up controversy. Van Halen doesn't deal well with that stuff, so it's best to just not even give them a chance and to continue to let the shows do the talking. Which leaves the press only one thing to focus on: the shows. A critic can try all he/she wants to bag on the shows, but by now, most fans have heard enough good stuff about the shows to know that VH is back ~ regardless of what some pudwhacking rock critic might say.

I heard Dave say that they wanted to create some new music...but who really knows for sure. How awesome would it be to have a new VH album for late 2008/2009?
