Damn...that looks like there must be close to three hours of video on one DVD. I wonder if the encoding holds up without any pixelation...?

If I really wanted to, I could make minimal improvements. But it would be a shitload of work and I would only consider it if the filming and show itself were really exceptional.

The much better solution would simply be to ask the guy who originally did the project to redo it. It's apparent he knows how to encode video to mpeg2 and author to DVD.

But he may have been working with mpeg2 from a stand alone burned copy he got from the filmer and the filmer isn't interested in re-doing the show on two disks. Hard to say.

The way it looks we looking at least 2.5 hrs of show on DVd so Im almost sure we looking at compressed vid???

This should of been at least 2 DVds IMO.....

Depending how he got his source DVD????

Wonder if he actually got 2 DVds from filmer and made 1 out of it?????

Some for some reasons hate 2 DVD shows :sus:

2.5 hours is a conservative estimate. VH show runs around two hours ten minutes, and then you have ten Sammy songs on top of that ~ those probably run for a good 45 minutes.

I'd take it a step further and say the 2007 should go on two disks ~ and the 2004 stuff should go on a third disk.

But unless the source is willing to make changes...we're all just blowing around a bunch of hot air.

The screenshots don't look too good as far as the compression artifacts are concerned.

If it was encoded on a PC with Variable Bit Rate it would be perfect on 2dvds.
If it was encoded on a stand alone recorder, you can only fit 60 mins on a disc at the highest bitrate. Therefore, you have to use 3 discs in XP mode. Im sure Sniville could help me out with this.

Btw, Enough is enough with these side shots!
