This has been discussed many times here before.... Patience Grasshopper.... Be appreciative of what we have seen and received already!

Please keep in mind that the individuals that do spend the money and make an effort to record shows for us to enjoy, probably work, or go to school. Then throw in the holidays, etc. AND don't forget the time it takes to are author a dvd, sync, review/edit/finalize. My guess is you would want at a minimum a quality audience dvd of the show. Give these guys a chance. Also don't forget about the assholes who take a show not recorded by them, and begin to sell it on eBay or Craigslist. How would you like it if that happened to you.

Also (and then I will stopventing) since it appears that you are recently new to this forum, give the "old timers" some respect and I am certain that one day you will be rewarded. Based on your comments, if I was one of these individuals that recorded the show, I wouldn't give you the time of day. To come here and have your 2nd post start bashing people is not very welcome.

Ok, I got that off my chest.

Scott

Whoa, hang on there. The "asshole" you speak of is has been working very hard at making the quality the best it can be, a perfectionist. It will benefit the fans in the long run. They can either rush it out, and have a mediocre DVD, or slave away for hours making it awesome. There are plenty of DVD's to hold you over until the HD sources come out. They will be released, and will be well worth the wait. An asshole would be a person who never releases the DVD's and rubs it in people's faces. A dedicated filmer is a person who labors over their work, and make sure it turns out very good, quality takes time. Meanwhile, enjoy the circulating VH DVD's, there are a bunch of good ones out there. :thumb:

Welcome to the gimmie, gimmie, gimmie generation........."always wanting one more, never satisfied..."

Be thankful for what you have, instead of bitching about what you don't. A lot of time, effort and money go into a lot of these DVD productions.........some just take longer than others for various reasons. In the end, YOU get them for FREE. So, just relax, chill, have a beer, take a nap........be patient and hopefully, they will get released somewhere down the road. ;)

I've only "heard" that it is currently being worked on. I have no screens or any other info on it.

Well...I guess the asshole had better speak up.

There are a couple of other people involved in these HD 2-cam projects. Currently, the personal circumstances of one of the project members are such that the projects are on hold.

I'm purposely being vague. I don't like even saying as much as I have because frankly speaking, I have no business talking about someone else's private matters in a public forum or even mentioning that a situation like this exists.

But I did originally say these would be out in November. I then changed that to December. December has come and gone and they're still not out. I've considered releasing single cam versions, but I have never been a fan of having more than one version of a show in circulation that is sourced from the same tapes. So I'll have to give that some more thought before I do it.

LMFAO :yell: :D :D :D :D :D

WOW, Talk about an Entrance. I wont show you the complete list of whats actually been shot compared to whats been released to the public so far. You would probably go off the deep end.

It's going to be a Great Year for Van Halen Boots.

Just releax and shows will gradually come out. I think everything has been coming out at a good pace.

All I can say is focus on the positives and dont focus on the negitives . I am very greatfull for the dvds of any show from 2007 . I am sure good hd dvds are in the works !!!!!!!! Unless you have tired to make a 2 or 3 cam mix and then add audio it takes more time than what most people think. Thanks to all who work hard on the dvds we have without them we would have nothing !!!!!!!!!
