Does anyone know who the 2008 tour manager is and who is Ed,s tech??

I know they are still managed by Irving Azoff and Matt Bruck is Ed,s assistant.
While were on it who is Al,s tech and Wolfgangs???

Thanks...

Not sure about those things, but Good Lord...next time out I volunteer to mix front-of-house...

If their FOH guy hasn't slit his wrists yet, it's a miracle.

The production on this tour has been roundly criticized both in the press (go read most any review) and in private forums such as this....and frankly...it's a valid criticism. You can always fall back on "well...hard to make it sound good in Arena X"...or "it's an arena show"...but those excuses don't work anymore...this is 2008 and I've heard numerous shows in arenas and all of them except for Van Halen were both clear and powerful. It can be done, they (sound crew) just ain't gettin' it done out front at least....can't speak for what's going on on-stage.

Swear...I'd do it for beer money...geez...and that's with almost any console and any reasonable configuration...

Lonnie left before the tour ever started.

I know that Doug Short worked with Dave alot during Daves solo years, I had heard that he was to be working on this tour also as a "Sound Reinforcement Production Consultant" met several years ago at a bachelor party--nice guy not to sure about his hearing though

Yes, after many years w/Ed, one Lonnie Totman left Eddie in mid to late summer, '07 under somewhat guarded statements. From the very, very brief statement Lonnie made, I will infer (and maybe wrongly so please don't attack me!) he and Ed did not see eye to eye any longer. Lonnie took the high road in the statement more or less so unless you know Lonnie, Ed or someone solid on the current crew, the reasons are likely going to be kept quiet.

John Douglas is back with Alex since the start of December after he finished with Sammy as i spoke to him a couple of weeks ago. I was under the impression that he was Tech for Alex.
I will drop him an email and find out.

Alex refers to JD as the 2nd Drum Tech in the current Modern Drummer story/interview.

Lonnie put up with about as much bs as he could... he couldn't stand it anymore.
