I'm in the process of burning a few DVDs for Dr. Reynolds but I just realized I have never traded out a DVD before. I have DVD Decrypter and I ripped one of them. But instead of getting various "VTS" files I got three of the same. Each one is the entire two hour show and it says the size is 0.99GB. I know something is wrong. I screwed around with some settings and copied it again and I got one "VTS" file which is the entire show totaling 3.88GB.

I have feeling something has to be wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

I'm not an expert but have you tried DVD shrink? You click on "open disc" and then "backup" to create an .iso file. Once you have an iso file saved to your HD just use DVD Decrypter to burn it. For DVD Decrypter go to "mode" and then ISO and make sure "write" is checked. After that you will then have a source and a destination. The source would be the iso file saved to you HD and the destination would be the drive you use to burn. Then you are all set.

If this is confusing maybe someone else has a better suggestion or explanation.

In DVD decrypter when DVD is in choose mode-ISO-READ then select folder where you ant it to send the ISO file....

To burn same thing throw a blank in drive and then in Decrypter chose MODE-ISO-WRITE then choose that ISO file you just ripped and there you go :D

Always burn slow speed 2x preferably but 4x if you cant ;)

If you can get your hands on DVDFAB it's all you will ever need... I don't bother with DVDSHRINK or DVD decrypter because DVDFAB does it all... Even converts DVDs to videos for your Ipod/ PSP/ Iphone or Voyager phones.

It's not a big deal, but Decrypter will tell you to choose the ".MDS" file as opposed to the .ISO file.

After Decrypter is done ripping, those are the two files it creates: .MDS and .ISO.

I guess I don't understand what kind of disc you have in your possesion. If it plays on your pc and standalone it should be ready to burn on nero, roxio, or DVD decrypter without messing with files. You must have some sort of data disc.
