I still buy Vinyl on a regular basis. I mainly buy old funk,Reggae and Jazz. I have crates and crates of records that I rotate and listen to. Vinyl has that natural compression that sounds so sweet. CD's are much to bright for me, especially with the loudness wars going on now.

This sounds very interesting to me. Let me know if you need any info on certain titles. I've got a fairly sizeable VH vinyl boot collection, as well as promos (7 & 12"), and imports on vinyl. I'd be interested in reading what you have.

Should be done around 3/15. I have front and back pictures of each one. Dates Times Matrix If its color vinyl and amount limited to...then will check against whats on the LP. Will be around 60 pages and 130 photos. A simple book but still a documented history of Bootlegs of Van Halen..Anyone interested, let me know. Also FRANKM PM me or email. I think I can do that show you wanted if you haven't gotten it already

I love vinyl. Over the past year I've really been getting into it. I'd much rather listen to vinyl. Sounds much better to my ears. I've only got about 50 or so. 60's and 70's rock. But some funk and reggae as well. I visit the record stores regularly.

I have never heard Van Halen on Vinyl, what are the sound quality differences? Would they sound better than the 2000 six pack remasters?

I have a rather large collection of vinyl still, most of which I have kept for certain reasons. Some are boots, some imports, but mainly I have a large collection of 80s garage - paisley underground-psych collection that I have had for years. There were certain bands that I collected ( The Chesterfield Kings, The Cynics, The Pandoras, The Vipers, Plasticland,1313 Mockingbird Lane) that I bought anything and everything that they pressed - even some VHS tapes that they had at shows. Most of this stuff will NEVER see the light of day on CD, so I keep the old turntable hooked up to the computer when I want a good fix of rock and roll!!

My brothers and I purdged a bunch of LPs not long ago and kept the ones we thought we should. I have converted a few to CDR.
