Mine are tucked away in my Grandparent's garage and I'm not sure about keeping them (I don't think I'll get much on eBay, garage sale, etc.) Does anyone even still listen to theirs? Didn't mean this to turn in to a 2 part question. :D

Mine are all in the garage and I think I ended up selling my imports about 9-10 years ago for money for our wedding.

I don't know if the other albums are worth much though?

If you have something that's in really good condition and it's never been released on CD...you might be able to get a few bucks for it.

But I don't know if the hassle of figuring what's has/has been released, advertising it for sale, and mailing it, etc., etc. is worth all the trouble.

I got mine boxed up and in storage.

I figured that I would hold on to them and hopefully, they will be worth a small forturne some day.

FYI, I have the Led Zepplin 45 for the "Immagrant Song" Side B is "Over the Hills and Far Away" I understand that it is worth some money since that was the only release of the song until the Zepplin Box set came out.

The Wife kept bugging me so i finally got rid of all 500 of them. They were just your run of the mill stuff but anything good i still have. Sometimes i wish i still had them but they did suck up a lot of space. Now i'm starting to look at ripping all my cd's to my hard drive and storing those away but i won't be getting rid of those yet.

I still have my vinyl around 2500 pieces tucked away..My Van Halen Bootlegs on Vinyl around 63 pieces I still play..Write now I am writing a Pictorial History of Van Halen on Bootleg Vinyl its about 1/2 done at this time. Should be done around 3/15. I have front and back pictures of each one. Dates Times Matrix If its color vinyl and amount limited to...then will check against whats on the LP. Will be around 60 pages and 130 photos. A simple book but still a documented history of Bootlegs of Van Halen..Anyone interested, let me know. Also FRANKM PM me or email. I think I can do that show you wanted if you haven't gotten it already

Most of my LPs were ruined in an ankle deep flood from a water pipe breaking, and the survivors are currently being ruined up in the attic.
Although, I do still have the "hey hey what can I do" 45rpm & the BuckinghamNicks LP.
(not in the attic nor on the floor)

All of my other CD collectibles were burglerized from my home about 11 years ago.

Still have around 400 or so. I built a special shelving unit for them about 16 years ago.

I haven't listened to them in several years. I need to get my turntable fixed. :yell:

Good job the wife doesn't read the forums, all the shelves I put up fall down after a month :yell: gee mojo your a real handyman, bet you've got one of those tool belts :D

Most of my albums are ageing that horrible yellow colour in my guitar room, but sandwiched in the middle in sleeves are... VH loony red vinyl, rubber soul by the beatles and two Hendrix bootlegs, that cost me a fortune in the '70's... Rubber dubber and Live from the crater of the sun, so you could say I use my records as bookends for my pride n' joys :D

weird. i've been waiting for someone else to post something more like: "i have a few hundred vinyl records, maybe more than that (i've never counted). in record-store racks. in a special listening room... you know: nice old Macintosh amp, d/d turntable, killer speakers. with lots of ashtrays. and, i listen quite often."

ya know?

weird,
