Anyone going to this who has extra tickets or not going and looking to get rid of tickets? I need 2. Figured I'd check here before being raped on Stubhub or by ticketbastard. I'll pay whatever, just let me know.

Thanks

If you're not really particular about which seats you get (yeah...you might be watching mostly big screen from some spots), you can get tickets very cheap from scalpers if you're willing to wait.

I got to Orlando the other night a little before the warmup band was going on stage. At first the scalpers told me I was crazy when I said I was only willing to pay $20 for a ticket. I knew they would start getting antsy about holding tickets the closer it got to Van Halen taking the stage.

Around 8:15pm ~ the guy who at first called me crazy sold me a ticket for $20.

Its not a bad idea and maybe will make an attempt at that.

Only thing I'm not sure of is the scalper situation at this venue. It is literally right on the boardwalk in AC. I'm sure they are around, but not sure how many and where.

If I don't get tixx....I could just use the money at the craps tables.

I don't know the scalper law in Jersey, but unless it's outright against the law - you can bet there will be a swarm of them out there selling tickets.

Actually, the best way to get a decent ticket is to catch a non-scalper who has extra(s) who is still out in the parking lot and hasn't yet been swarmed by scalpers looking for tickets - which will happen when they get close to the venue. If they have some really nice seats, you can usually get them for face value.

The non-scalpers sometimes are more willing to sell to a fan as opposed to a scalper, because with a fan, they know who will be sitting next to them and also because there is a certain sliminess to the whole scalper thing: a lot of them look like they just got out of jail...they want to haggle about the price, etc.
