| I imagine we have a lot of guitar players here. Curious to what extent you've taken it? See poll! |

I haven't played in years but I was never really good.
Just good enough to play a few popular riffs for self gratification! |

I just picked up one of those myself. Beautiful instrument.
I've been playing for 8 years. Never publicly though, not for lack of want though. All the other musicians I know are either unreliable or have an ego bigger than mine. |

Been playing since I heard Eddie back in late 79. Prior to that I had played classical stuff on violin, viola and piano. Did the originals bands thing in my teens and early twenties and had some modererate sucess on the local scene. Since then played on and off mainly in covers bands, but not done much since I became a Dad a couple of years ago.
My main guitar is a red 1986 Hamer Steve Stevens signature, plus I have a bunch of Yamahas. I have a home built FX rack and currently looking for a new head.

I have been playing guitar since 1982 - yes, since I first heard Eddie on Diver Down. I currently play in a cover band in the Dallas area. We gig a couple times a month at bars and clubs.
Guitars: Fender Strat, Kramer, a couple acoustics
Ibanez bass

I've been playing since around 1990. I don't take it to seriously though. Just mainly noodle.
Guitars:
EVH EBMM (cherryburst)
Ibanez Jem 77fp
Ibanez RG350
Fender Squire (turning into VH1 replica)
OLP double neck (6/12 string)
Ibanez thinbody electric acoustic
Monterey 12 string acoustic
and 2 other cheap ass electrics that aren't worth mentioning. |

I have been playing for about 12 years. I have been building EVH guitars for 10 years and basically play only VH stuff.
Right now I have,
EBMM (amber quilt EVH model)
Peavey Wolfgang (Black standard)
Black/white Franky replica
Red/while and black Franky replica
Kramer 5150 replica
Kramer 1984 replica
Bumblebee replica
Ibanez Destroyer Shark replica
Steinberger 1985 GL2T Trans Trem 5150 painted guitar
I have had about 60 guitars in the last 12 years and as of right now these are the ones that I have kept and plan on keeping. I dont need 90 freakin EVH guitars. I think 9 is pretty good for a guy that sits in his room and plays Eddie riffs. I play through a 5150 peavey combo and use the basic MXR stuff with some BOSS stuff too :thumb:

I've been payed to shut up playing the guitar :yell:
I can't go more than 3 or 4 days without playing the guitar, it's my comfort zone, I've been smitten for 30years.
Played in bands for a long time but gave up about 10 years ago.
Lost more money on my addiction for guitar stuff than the price of my house :(
My set up is
Jackson '88 Ltd. Ed. (modded with twin SD buckers)... my trusted friend.
Soldano Decatone head and 4 12.
GCX switch system into Ground Control pro footboard
TC G-major effects. |

I play every day but am not in a band at the moment. Also play the keys a lot.
Got about 30 guitars. Always looking for more!!
Currently looking for a pre-war Martin that'll cost more than my house :-)

Man, that's impressive if you can sing in a Queen cover band. I think Freddie was to vocals as Edward is to guitar. :thumb: |
