Much like CVH is Dave and Ed. Kiss is, and always will be, Gene and Paul.
Just my humble opinion. |

I caught them on the Footy Show. Shout It Out Loud sounded pretty cool, but I Was Made For Loving You was terrible. They should not of played that song in the environment. Paul doesn't have the pipes for it anymore. To be honest, its a crap song to begin with and they were always going to play it.
Gene must love being in Melbourne at the moment. Its is incredibly hot there (and here in Adelaide). I would hate to be wearing his costume in there conditions.

I for one, would definitely rate him as one of the better drummers in the world. I understand where you are coming from, but IMO, Kiss are and sound much much better with him on the drums. They shouldn't be wearing the makeup though. |

I love the old Kiss. The Sound, The Costumes, The Make-Up, The whole mystery of who's behind the mask.
Musically the new line-up might sound better, but it looks a bit cheap seeing Eric and Tommy wearing the make-up and costumes of Ace and Peter.
Why not create something new like they did with Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent. Probably because they haven't made any new music in this line up. Too bad.
I loved it when they did the reunion tour in 1996. That had a special vibe, because a lot of people never saw them with make up. |

Kiss have had only 2 great drummers and they are both named Eric.
What's the difference between Peter Criss and a drum machine?
You only have to punch the info into the drum machine once. |

| Eric Carr's drumming on the Creatures of the Night CD is just phenomenal. |

| Paul commented that he could see KISS going on without him. Is he kidding? When Peter could not play back in 1997, his tech took over for the night. If Ace could not make it, Tommy was in the wings. Who in the world would cover for Gene or Paul? Back in July of last year, Paul had a rapid heartbeat and couldn't play and they performed as a threesome. Once Gene or Paul decide to quit...KISS will be done. |
