VR was definitely the tightest heaviest band I've seen in the last couple of years - Slash rules!
Seeing them w LZ would be frosting on the cake.
too cool.

I have to agree with that. There's a ton of energy at their shows. |

Right. For Marley, I couldn't stay in the room. For VR, I just sat down in disgust. |

If you go in expecting the worst (as you should), you might be surprised. (or not)

Chris,
How did you rate the show last night. They were F-----g awful in Glasgow. Scott Weiland said this would be the last ever tour for Velvet Revolver and on this performance thank f--k!!!!
Forgot to say "open for Led Zeppelin" They couldn't even open for themselves. |

| if zeppelin does tour, i hope that there's no opening act. it'll be by far the biggest tour of the year and people won't really care about who opens for them they just want to see zeppelin. and if there's no opening act, that leaves room for a longer zepp set. |

They were late on to start with so the audience where a little hostile initially. However once they'd got going they were great. Lots of energy and played well. There was one huge F$£K up in Mr Brownstone when Scott missed his lines.... after some confusion they had to start the number again. Other than that I was very impressed. Set ran for 95 mins, good mix of stuff from both albums plus 3 old songs each from GnR and STP.
If they do split up, I hope STP get back together, I much prefer them to VR.
Chris. |
