I've got some of my hockey clips (stuff that I filmed, I'm not the best but I do try, lol) up on youtube. So check them out and maybe leave a comment if you can.

Cool Vids!!! :thumb:

Since I have kids, I invested in Nikon d40 digital camera with a zoom lense to try and take pics of the kids playing their favorite sports (action shots). My son 18 plays AA Hockey in the CSDH League and will be graduating from HS. He hopes to secure a spot in the Juniors in May/June. My daughter plays volleyball on the HS freshman team as well as a club volleyball team. I would post some pics (2) here for ya to show my lack of talent but am not sure how to post pics.

Thank you. I got someone to post these up for me. My skills on the computer is next to nill (lol). I've been taping my nephew for almost four years. I have well over 100 of his games on dvd. Next year he will be playing major midgets.

Nice job Trevor. 3-8-08 is great! End to end rush with a water bottle jumping blast over the glove. Good stuff.

Thank you. That was nephew who scorded that goal. That was a wild game. The other team scord 5 goals in 6 minutes, but the first period ended 5 to 3. That goal was scorded in the second period to make the score 5 to 4, but the second period ended 8 to 4. The game ended in a 8 to 8 tie.

Unfortunately its not given much of a chance here in the US. Took off in the mid 90s a bit and then the lockout of 95 ruined things. NHL in the states has never regained the steam they had prior to that lockout.

True, but it's very popular in certain areas. I now live near San Jose, so I've been to quite a few Sharks games. The Tank is always sold out, and the fans really know the game. Coming from Pittsburgh, I didn't expect such knowledgeable fans, but they know their shiite.

I'm hoping for a Sharks vs Pens final.

Excellent fan base in San Jose. Was out there last season for business and went to a game. Very impressed with the fans.

Much better than other teams in non hockey cities.

As much as I enjoy football, hockey is where my heart truly lives. There's nothing more exciting than watching your team win in a long overtime game, but at the same time there's nothing more heartbreaking than to watch them lose at 5:00 am in the moring after a long overtime (lol). I always stay up until the very end of the game when my team is playing. I'm hoping to add more clips sometime next week.

Agree. Playoff OT hockey is the best in the sport. I cringe when I hear people say that they should use the shootout in the playoffs becuase more than 2 OTs is unsafe. Losing in long OT playoff games is bad, but I couldn't imagine how it would feel to lose the Stanley Cup in a glorified skills competition.

Playoffs fast approaching....can't wait.

Let's Go Sharks!

I also hope the Flyers can sneak into the 8th spot out East.

This is going to be a great playoff year. So many teams...so close in the standings.

Youtube is great for hockey vids. Almost every hockey fights is up within minutes after the game. Far cry from back in the VHS tape dubbing days.

You can also find a lot of great tributes and highlight comps from all your favorite players.

From your lips to God's ears!

If their power play doesn't wake up by the playoffs it'll be a 2nd round exit again.
