I can extract dvd media onto my dvd burning software. But when I try to burn the file to dvd, I get a blank outcome.
Has anyone ever had this problem? This is a first on my Pc.
Anyone suggest a good affordable replacement burner for my PC?
THX

Thanks for the input everyone. I went to BEST BUY to get the NEC 3550, they didn't carry that brand. I did find a Sony DRU- 840A which burns 20x dvd+r dvds. It was 49.99 plus tax.
I put it in and tried a few test burns and it seems to be working fine. It even came with the a version of NERO. |

IMO:
a) You should restrict burn speeds to 4x for trades
b) You should throw that copy of NERO in the trash bin |

I agree with Mike and I have 2 LG lightscribe burners on my computer and burn everything I throw at them! I even had these Dual Layer discs that my Pioneers wouldn't touch and the LG's have no problem with them! |
