And the end of Eddie's solo...now THIS is the way its supposed to sound!!!! MUCH better than the shows I saw in Ft Lauderdale - it proves a couple months of practice can do a lot!

I've been thinking for a long time now...Ed could come out and play "Eruption" close to how it's played on the album and that would be all the solo I'd need to hear. He could add a minute of two of improv...but five minutes max would be perfect for me. |

Exactly. In his last interview he said he doesn't know what to play during his solo. I think they should cut it down to a bare minimum and then jam every so often. Like Eddie did during Summer Nights on Live Without a Net or like Mississippi Queen in Feb in Ft Lauderdale.
Regardless, its good to see them back again and in "good" health.

That's basically what he did in Reno, 7 minutes of solo...it was Cathedral sandwiched by Eruption. |

Thats what he did at the Vegas show on 4.19.08 as well....Catherdral sandwiiched by Eruption........some improve but not much. Very tight. |
