|
|
Got my new computer earlier this week. A few days ago I downloaded a WWE torrent for my son without any problems.
Now, regardless of the torrent site I visit and try and download stuff from, I get this message:
"Couldn't listen-Unable to forward port via PnP"
Just what the hell does this mean? I turned off my firewall, and the only anit-virus program I have installed is AVG, and I've never experienced any problems downloading torrents with AVG in the past.
What do I need to do in order to get this repaired?
Thanks. |

| You may have to configure the ports on your router if you are using one. On the other hand I had the same issue happen to me a few weeks ago. I finished dl a show and when I tried to jump on another I got that message. The cure for me was I shut down everything, router, modem computer and restarted all of it. It all worked fine after that. |

Well, I restarted the computer, considered restarting the modem, but never thought about restarting the router.
I'll give all three a shot and see what happens.
Thanks! |

I got an error "Unable to forward port via UPnP".
* Try enabling UPnP for your computer and/or router.
* If this error suddenly appeared after successfully running BitTornado for a while, try clearing your router's UPnP table.
* Barring the above, click "Prefs", and set UPnP forwarding to Disabled.
Well, at least you know what it was... |
