| I'm recording the broadcast. Hopefully everything will remain stable and good. It's a 128K MP3 stream, so the quality isn't that great, plus it's not a soundboard broadcast. They just open the window in the CaboWaboRadio studio (or something) and let the sound come in. |

Hmm...
I didn't realize Sammy will be driving the pace car for this Friday night's NASCAR Nationwide Series race in Phoenix, and waving the checkered flag for the cup race on Saturday night:
American rock legend Sammy Hagar and Basketball Hall of Famer Rick Barry joining PIR’s pre-race ceremonies
Sammy Hagar “can’t drive 55,” and that’ll be a good thing on Friday, April 11 at PIR for the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200. Hagar will drive the honorary PIR pace car to lead the Nationwide Series field to the race-opening green flag, but he’s not the only celebrity slated to take the wheel.
Rick Barry may be used to the hardwood after a 15-year basketball career that landed him in the Hall of Fame, but now he’ll take on a totally new surface: asphalt.
Saturday is Rick’s night to take the wheel of the pace car, and he’ll lead the 43 stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to start the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ under the lights.
If Rick’s going to start the race, then who’s going to finish it? Why, Hagar, of course! Hagar’s night will conclude atop the start/finish line, as he’ll wave the checkered flag over the 2008 SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ winner, a duty normally reserved for race officials. Now that’s cool stuff.
