| Looked like a cheap shot to me. Clean hip check. Then he got up and looked like he lifted and drove his skate into the defender. |

Many of us know hockey and that was a cheap shot. NOTHING with a skate is a love tap, not when the thing doing the tapping can kill you in an instant.

That's what my thoughts are. I'm sure if there were seats on the other side of the rink I would have gotten a real good shot on were the skate landed. I think the kid got three games. My nephew is the one getting stepped on. He was lucky that he did not get hurt. |

| Very glad your nephew is o.k. that's the most important. That little creep that did it should get 15 games!! Real hockey players don't use their skates as weapons. If they need to use a weapon, you drop the gloves and get it on! |

I think it was in the thigh pad. It's been a few years since that happened (lol). I believe my nephew was 12 when that game took place. There were a few games this year that got very chippy on the ice and at times in the stands. One of the clips I'll be adding you can hear one of the parents yell out "line up number 4". He took a stick in the upper chest that slide up to the neck. After words (I think it's the same parent) yells out "one cheap shot desevrse another" |
