I have over 30 posts but I'm unable to access the torrent section. It just says "No searchable forums found." Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem? I sent 3 pm's to an admin but no response. Thanks to Randy for having the courtesy to respond to my pm and try to help.

I saw that you reached your 30th post and did it all in about a month's span. Then when you reached your 32nd post you stopped posting... You sent me more PMs then actual posts in the past month but not one post after you reached your traget.

This isn't Dime, TTD, ETC where yoo can just sign up and expect to be able to access the torrents. I know there is a 30 post requirement, but you also have to be an active member. Unlike the other torrent sites where they only care about ratios, here you also have to be active, and like the other sites, maintain a ratio.

Members must be active in the forum to be able to access torrents here... We don't have that many torrents here and what we do have are for our active members to enjoy. We have had a couple of members who haven't been active here for almost a year but every torrent we offer they are on it. This will all stop and I will remove any non-active member from the torrent group.

He reached 32 posts and then all of a sudden he stopped posting for almost a month. In that time he kept sending me PM after PM asking about the torrents but never posted at VHT again until he started crying about it! Last Monday I gave him access to the torrents, but either the system booted him from the group once he posted again - like it's been doing for certain members (some of you know about that) or he cried so much he couldn't see the torrent section.

He cried about this show being sold when he's the one who contacted a seller to trade. Why cry when you're offering this to a seller???

So you filmed this show and now you expect the royal treatment from everybody??? You cried about the Kansas City show you filmed in 2004 and now you're crying about this!

It's nice that you filmed this Omaha show but cause I wouldn't roll out the red carpet for you now you're crying! Keep your footage and play it all you want at home and don't release it! Seeing how you've been acting - your ego wants the praise for your filming so you will trade it to somebody and once you do that it will be out.

Maybe trade it with the seller to get some unreleased future show?? All they will do is use your footage for profit and eventually it'll make its way here!

This is the ONLY place I trade where I feel comfortable breaking my "you request, you send first" rule. There are lots of stellar people here who have been here for some time. I think the mods do a great job of looking out for the "needs of the many" by policing the fly-by-nighters. That is NOT what I'm calling you but like Ory said....you have to be "active"...not because he's being a dick....he's doing it for the trust of our little community and for your credibility.

I only blame Ory for being a Lakers fan! :p

You are right UNMIKED, this too is the only place I trade like that too. I have only been a member for 6 months or so but this site is pretty cool and so what if the band isn't doing anything, there is plenty to discuss. There are a lot of forums here and input is always welcome. I understand the 30 post rule and have accepted it. Besides that you can get more shows to add to your collection through trading with some of the fine people on this site rather than torrenting. I love this site and am glad someone over at JTT told me about it.

I don't think any of this is worth losing any sleep over. I can see the reason for the 30 post rule and it makes good sense... it keeps the hit and runners away and the end result is more sharing and that is to everyone's benefit. Ory's not off base here at all.

I can see that there is little to post about sometimes but that is to be expected. The best thing to post about here is trading!

I'll Agree With you that at sometimes the boards can be a bit ''dry'' , but there is always something to post about here, whether it be a show you just saw, sports scores, or just a joke you feel like telling?? ;)

I have to step in here as you are wrongly accusing a Site Admin and great person of wrong doing but here you are very wrong....The rules were made to try and help or avoid having hit n runners who come and profit on your work and efforts you put into filming shows :cool: ..... These rules are for everyone and it wouldnt be fair for someone to move on just because he has a show he filmed or whatever...( Really appreciate your filming efforts By the way :thumb: )

ORY does a great job in maintaining equality amongst all members her at VHT and trust me its not easy....All this does is have folks implicate themselves more and yes you can talk about just anything....now Im sorry to say that you fell in that category and it frustrates me to see all members get shafted due to a frustration..we are all here for the same reaon..VH ( I think)....There was a filmer a while back that was in your shoes but you know what he understood and respected the rules as they are there for everyone ..No Exceptions....He actually sent me his footage and i revampd it with audio upgrade and had it torrented and treed here...He couldnt hop on tree or torrent ironic as it can be but I was happy to send him a copy as a trade :thumb:

Now if you want to keep it to yourself hey go right ahead ...You filmed it ;) You do what you want but please do not disrespect Ory for doing his job and any member as was done here......

Hopefully you will see through this and hell yes it would be nice to see that show like all the shows out there....Oakland 81 is out there ...But Where??? HMMMMM!!!!!!...Ah well the world keeps turning and unfortunately your show will eventually be released or forgotten sssh ......

Hi everybody!I just want to say that i'm in here for around 3 years and i've built my collection by trading only.I'm not really into torrents.I've met great people here.The key words in trading is Patience and communication.Ory and lots of others are working hard to keep this site alive,well and enjoyable and to give us the best V-H boots.So if you don't respect them,you're not welcome here but if you want to play by the rules,you can build a nice collection and meet very nice people who are willing to help you.You decide.

Wassup Fellow VHers!! I am, I guess still considered a newbie. I came here to find some new friends and trading partners and have not been let down!! I would like to give a big shout out to all of you and say "THANKS" for helping me out too.

Although I have passed the 30 posts I haven't said/asked anything about gaining torrent access yet...I figure if I played my cards right, I'd finally get a chance at the "Pleasure Dome" and the "Golden Tree House".

Anyways Thanks again guys and I will soon be offering up a GREAT new 2 DVD set as a give away that will not be "Just for Newbies"....

Thanks for the kind words everybody and if he decides to hoard his video then it's fine.. It's his call and he can whatever he wants but if he trades it down the line evetually it will make it's way here.

There is more shows thatis being worked on and with the tour starting up again there will be more new footage.
