Hi Everyone,

I was at the show last nite. Sat in section 105 (Wolfie"s side) row H. Set list remains the same. Tiger Woods came out to open greet the fans and announce VH. Venue was very full but not sold out. The place holds about 12K.....I'd say about 2k seats open in the back. The draped off a couple sections in the back. Opened with Dave and the flag waving.......he ran through all the usual schtick....with the exception of the top hat over the groin routine during DTNA. Don't get me wrong, he ran through all the top hats, including a couple of new ones, and a Napoleon hat to close the show.

Alex was his usual self. Wofie seemed somewhat dis interested to me. He rarely looked at Ed the whole night and there was not the usual interplay between the two. He spent much of the night staring into the front row watchin his Mom. Yep....Valerie and her bald headed boyfriend were there watching the whole show. He seemed to be going through the motions.

Edward seemed great and sounded excellent as well. Lots of smiling and hit most of the notes. He did not move much at all. He wore his army green pants, no shirt and his ultra cool converese chuck Frankenstien striped converese. Damn I'd love a pair of those. He and Dave did a lot of back and forth. The did the whole "Motoercycle" thing...."Magic bus" even tore up some impromtu blues.

Couple of differences, before Dave's ice cream man story he stood under what appeared to be a streetlight for a minute or two.....then came out center stage for the story. Changed it up a bit ....left out the part about the girl and the bottle cap.

Overall a solid show, not the best of the tour imo, still very enjoyable. Ed seemed in great spirits, lots of smiling, has a new short cropped hairdo with frosted locks on top. I will have a bunch of pictures to upload tomorrow or Tuesday. Sitting in the airport right now waiting to fly back east.

Overall, they are back, not much has changed.....lets hope it continues..........pictures coming soon.......

I read that Val had a gaggle of young hotties with her ~ and that's what Wolf was paying most of his attention to. I can't say I'd have done any different if I was in his shoes. But that's not a very professional way to act under the circumstances.

Here is vid of Eddie's solo at Tiger Jam...

I'll say this...Eddie Van Halen has not been this on top of his game since the mid 80's. It is CLEAR that he took at least a little time to practice his f'n ASS off during the down time. No one loves the studio more than Eddie, so I smell a Roth-era style album upcoming...

It was more then a couple section that was blocked off.Sec 210-217 was blocked off and anyone that bought tickets in those section was upgraded to seats in section 112-114. This show did not sell out all for a major act. The entire floor was given to corporate sponsors of the event. Al three rock station where giving out tickets. On on Friday afternoon a site that is used for seat fillers gave out tickets. I was able to get 4 $183 tickets for the show for free.

I think it was a combo of thing that caused this, first the December shows in Vegas where not the greatest. No one I knew was going to pay for the show again. Everyone I knew that went (50+ people) went for free. Second, people that would usually fly into town was not going to risk having this show postponed on them at the last minute. Throw in the economy and the state of the airlines and it just gotr worse. Then for some reason people always think that these Tiger Jams show would bring a shorter set from the band. I had to convice people it was not going to be a abbreviates set list.

Which is a shame because I went with very low expectation of the show and Eddie was actually on for most of the night. If he continues to play like this on the tour it would be worth making a trip to see again. One thing I notice was their was no energy in the crowd except for a few songs.

Overall it was a really good show.
