ANyone know of what I can do or use to clean up old files...( Compressed old files ) on my PC ? I tried using Disc Clean up on the Windows Control Panel...but it shows how many files but won't delete them. It seems to be alot and taking up space...

| Lance, I use Window Washer. It's not freeware, but it seems to work pretty well. |

Lance, not sure if this will take of your exact problem, but this is one of the free programs I use to clean up my system.

I am sure you already have this, another nice free one. Again, not sure if this is targeted at your exact problem.

This one is for more secure file deletion, but since it works on so many files, it might do the job to just remove files. A few more I will list here are more for secure file deletion, a while back I had to remove some secure data, but they might work too to just remove a file, but may take longer. Obviously just be careful that you are only removing exaxtly what you want to with these because they will overwrite, not just remove.
