| Radio and T.V stations are announcing rumours that Van Halen will open up the outdoor Summer Fest. for the 400 year anniversary of the City.Cold Play was originally the opening band for the Fest. but for some reason or another they declined.The Summer Fest. shows are done on the Abrahams Plains and can have over 100,000 people.I am really keeping my fingers crossed for this one. :dance: |

| No,STP is on the next Thursday I think.Dennis Deyoung and Honeymoon suite are on Wednesday before STP.Linkin Park is supposed to close up on Sunday.I know Celine Dion will also perform this summer on the Abraham Plains but I don't know when.I don't think she is on the Summer Fest. ticket however. |

That could mean a longer leg of this tour and hopefully more Canadian dates. I'd love to see them come to Edmonton a second time, they always play well here. :thumb: |

Local 6 O'clock news just announced that the Contract for the Summer Fest. has been signed with Van Halen.They then played the Jump video.I am soo Exited :thumb: :thumb: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
The official Summer Fest. web site still has a vacancy spot for the 8:00 P.M Scene Bell where V.H will perform.
