I emailed to my old school filmer buddy, and this is what he said about Pierre:
He is like so out of this video stuff now...I have mailed him a few shows that i had pc authored that he shot...just for fun...but he stopped in 1988 and sold all his tapes then....he doesn't have them anymore...i have 1st gen copies of alot...but not all...and he has no interest in this anymore... |

Theres lots of shows from those years in the 80s from Canada.I wonder if the laws are different up there for bootleging.Or it was easier to sneak in gear or someone paid off the wright people.Only because every band that toured up there Metallica,Priest,Van Halen,Maiden,Motley Crue,Def Leppard and more have boots from Toronto or Montreal and all the same arenas,and they seem to most likely be shot by the same person.
If it was not for Canada their would be a lot less somewhat decent and decent 80s audience shot boots going around.
I think it was someone who maybe did not even like the bands that much but did it for money.I bet back then lots and lots of money was made off boots pre net. |
