No, I wouldn't call them metal, but they are hard to categorize. I recommend you download a song or two from them. They are really good, but I wouldn't call them a guitar band.

Good for Ed.

That # 70 ranking crap from a few years back in RS was beyond an insult. There's about 68 other guitarists who have no business being ranked ahead of Ed, IMO.

I remember that list, basically if you play your guitar in drop D tuning RS thinks you're a guitar legend and will put you in their top ten. Obviously they know nothing about guitar talent.
